Import or export a CSV
Bring your collection over from another app or a spreadsheet for free, or export yours as a spreadsheet with Holo10.
Import (free)
- Open Settings → Data → Import CSV and tap Choose a CSV file.
- Holofile reads exports from several collection apps and from Holofile itself. Any other CSV works too: it asks which column is which.
- Review the matches. Rows under Check these need a look. Tap a row to fix the match or the printing, or choose Don’t import this row.
- Tap Import to add them.
Nothing is added until you’ve reviewed the matches. Undo import takes it all back, and you can also undo it from Settings → Data → Activity & undo for 30 days.
Most rows are matched on your phone. Rows it can’t match are sent to us with their card details only, like the name, set and number. Prices, quantities, conditions, notes and dates never leave your phone.
Export (Holo10)
Settings → Data → Export CSV makes a spreadsheet with one row per copy and opens the share sheet, so you can save it to Files, mail it or AirDrop it.
A Holofile export imports back as the same copies, so it’s also a way to move a collection. Photos aren’t included.
