What data Holofile collects

Your collection stays on your iPhone. Here’s what the app does send, and how to turn off anonymous usage stats.

Updated

Holofile keeps your collection on your iPhone. Your cards, copies, prices paid, photos, rips, sales and badges are stored on the phone. You can use every free feature without an account, and nothing you enter is sent to us unless you turn on Cloud sync.

What the app does send

  • Catalog and prices: downloads of the card catalog, prices and card images, with no account or device ID.
  • Cloud sync, if you turn it on: your collection and photos, kept with your account.
  • Anonymous usage stats: once a day, totals of how the app was used and what went wrong, with no ID of any kind. They never include your cards, prices, notes, searches or anything you type.
  • Crash reports, with no ID, name, collection or picture of your screen.
  • What you choose to send: feedback, missing-product reports, barcodes you teach and support messages.

Turn off usage stats

Turn off Settings → Usage stats → Share anonymous usage stats. The app then sends nothing more and deletes the days it hasn’t sent yet.

What we don’t do

No ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it to train AI models.

The privacy policy has the details, including how long things are kept and your rights. To delete your account and its cloud copy, see Delete your account.
