Japanese cards

Turn on Japanese cards for search and scanning, show their printed names, and see their prices in yen.

Updated

Turn them on

Go to Settings → Collection → Catalog languages and choose English and Japanese (or pick Japanese when you first set up the app). Holofile downloads the Japanese catalog, and search and scanning include Japanese cards from then on.

Japanese is on for new installs unless you left it out during setup. Choosing English again takes Japanese cards out of search and scanning, and Japanese cards you own stay.

Why are my Japanese cards in English?

Japanese cards show their English names by default, so they’re easy to search and compare. To see them as printed, turn on Settings → Collection → Japanese names. The switch appears once Japanese cards are on.

Prices

Japanese cards are priced in yen, and English cards in US dollars. To see everything in one currency, use Settings → General → Currency: see Prices in your currency.
